Luana Garden Villas reached a major milestone last week. The construction fence has been raised which signals the official start to construction activities.
For those that are not familiar with the Luana Garden Villas, it is Honua Kai‘s final phase and the completion of the overall site development. All floor plans will be large 3BR / 3BA. Each unit will feature large lanais to promote the ideal indoor / outdoor lifestyle that Kaanapali’s nearly perfect year-round weather can provide. Each unit will also include a single car garage and additional storage. Owners and guests of Luana Kai will receive full access and privileges to the entire Honua Kai Resort.
There will be a total of 72 units in all and prices are expected to start around $1.8M. Construction completion of the first 24 units is anticipated by Summer of 2019 with the following 24 units coming 4 months later and the final 24 units coming 8 month after the completion date of the first unit.
What truly sets this project apart from other new construction projects on Maui is the location and zoning. Resort zoning allows Honua Kai and now Luana Garden Villas to offer vacation rentals that are fully compliant with Maui County regulations.
