Whalers Village in Kaanapali is nearing completion of extensive renovations. Several new shops and new restaurants are now open for business.
This is just the latest property to see significant upgrades along the prestigious Kaanapali Parkway. Kaanapali Alii, a full ownership luxury condo development, did a complete renovation of it common grounds and common area as recently as 2015. The Whaler Resort on Kaanapali beach followed with renovations of its own that were just completed last year.
Some of the new shops include Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman and Choice Health Bar. Both Monkeypod and Choice have other very successful and popular locations on Maui. They are sure to have continued success with their prominent locations within Whalers Village.
Whalers Village reputation for fine shopping has been bolstered by several luxury brands. Jewelry stores include the likes of Barron & Leeds, Pandora and Martin & MacAurthur. The addition of one of my wife’s favorite stores, Louis Vuitton, makes the my trips to Whalers Village a fun but potentially expensive endeavor. One addition to the mall that many might overlook is the inclusion of Maui Escape Rooms for a much needed attraction to the neighborhood. For the rare rain day or even in the event of too much sun, Maui Escape Rooms offers a family friendly activity without having to leave Kaanapali.
All in all, the renovations and additions appear to be well done and thoughtfully selected. Kaanapali Beach and the surrounding properties will continue to benefit from the world class shopping and dining offered by Whalers Village. Below is an incomplete list of shops in the Mall.
