As you can see from the chart above, Maui Real Estate continues its strong showing. Both Median and Average Sales Prices of Condos and Residential Homes increased. Land prices looked to take a dive but keep in mind that with such a small sampling of transactions, this number can be misleading.

The Parkways in Maui Lani and Alohilani at Kehalani are two new developments in Wailuku that typically require potential buyers to register and wait on a reservation list before they are offered an opportunity to purchase. Below is a quick overview of Maui’s Real Estate Market for 2016 vs 2015 through November. Median sales prices are up for both SF Residential and Condominium Sales with SF Residential making the biggest jump from $582K to $635K in Maui County which is a 9% increase. Median sales price for Condos also Increased on Maui by 1%. Total Dollar Volume is also up for both Residential and Condominiums on Maui. The Real Estate Market remains strong while going into December with sale expected to pick up during the holidays and our winter high season.
Alohilani at Kehalani has begun accepting reservations for specific lots. Of the 88 homes planned to be built, almost half already have a buyer that has placed their name on the reservation. Qualified buyers are also allowed to place their names on lots as potential backups. Prices are expected to be in the high $500K up to $700K for Single Family Brand New Homes in the highly desirable Kehalani Neighborhood.
